Feast of Tabernacles - Uvongo

GENERAL

The town of Uvongo is situated on the Hibiscus Coast of the province of Kwazulu Natal, approximately 160 kilometres (96 miles) south of Durban International Airport. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the mild subtropical climate and ample accommodation make it an ideal feast site and holiday destination for both local and overseas visitors.

A few kilometres inland from the coast the scenery changes quite dramatically and there are many scenic drives and view sites such as the spectacular Oribi Gorge. It is here that the brave hearted can bungy jump over 100 metres down into the gorge.

Also there are many fine restaurants in the area as well as two large shopping malls.

There is a 14% value added tax on most purchased items which is refundable at point of departure. Receipts will be required.
