Accommodation is very reasonably priced compared to most other areas in the country, the average price of a 3 bedroom, self catering apartment is R600.00 (US $80.00) per night.

Most of the brethren usually choose to stay at the very popular Laguna La Crete complex which has over one hundred 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Many of these apartments have spectacular views of the Uvongo Lagoon and coast line. Often schools of dolphins or an occasional whale can be seen close inshore or, for the more adventurous, offshore dolphin / whale watching can be arranged.

A few kilometres inland from the coast the scenery changes quite dramatically and there are many scenic drives and view sites such as the spectacular Oribi Gorge. It is here that the brave hearted can bungy jump over 100 metres down into the gorge.

There are many fine restaurants in the area as well as two large shopping malls.

Please note that accommodation should be booked as soon as possible as the Feast of Tabernacles falls during the South African School Holidays.

Accommodation Costs range from approximately US $50 to $100 per night, depending on the type of accommodation that is required.

Services will be held at the Uvongo Municipal Hall and the first service will be at 7.30 pm on Wednes day 22 nd September.

Taxes: There is a 14% value added tax on most purchased items which is refundable at point of departure. Receipts will be required.
